Crafted in the kitchen
NÄRA Organic Beauty was born of our family’s desire to grow closer to nature and ourselves; to cultivate a ritual of slow, soothing, intentional self-care.
It’s why all of our ingredients are ethically-sourced, sustainable, and natural — and why each and every jar of our Whipped Body Butter is handcrafted in one of our family’s home kitchens, from Bull Lake to Chicago.

Marcy is our original artist and craftsman — and we mean that very literally, as the mother to Emma and Sophie. With a college degree in graphic design and decades of exploring her craft(s) in interior design and decoration, client relations, and — the toughest job of all — motherhood, Marcy is our Swiss Army Knife, championing research and development, overseeing vendor communications, and leading the merchandising department by hand-embroidering our t-shirts, drafting brand iconography, and adding the most final necessary touches to everything with a logo.

With a foundation in fashion and a career rooted in wellness, Emma brings a uniquely holistic vision to her role as creative director and head of product design. After studying fashion, Emma followed her passion for health and well-being into the world of fitness — an experience that deepened her belief in the power of intentional living.
Her approach to beauty is guided by the same principles: simplicity, integrity, and connection. For Emma, organic beauty is more than a product category — it’s a way of being. Her eye for design, devotion to craftsmanship, and relentless pursuit of quality shape every detail of the brand’s creative direction and production process. Whether she’s sourcing ingredients, refining formulas, or curating the look and feel of each collection, Emma brings a refined aesthetic and grounded energy to everything she touches.
